I am again going through my parts of the upcoming Conference in Chiang Mai. I will talk about Epic Leadership, Dynamic Management and a few other topics that I shall keep secret until the time is right. I believe strongly in the preparation process and therefore I am checking and re-checking my presentation. The time it will take versus the time set aside for this on the agenda. I hate going over the assigned time… Unprofessional! Where I will hammer a little longer for impact fulness of the message. Which slides that are not crucial and should be removed etc…

Among other things, I will talk about the intricacy of the hiring process. This is not an easy task for a leader. Far too often we hire people to do important tasks for us not because he/she is the best person but he/she is the best person we found so far. That is of course a mistake – if in doubt do not hire! Keep looking until the best possible candidate appears because they always will appear. It is just a question of looking hard enough. The trick here is to always be looking. Everywhere…
